Heart of the Season Day 1
Dec. 6th, 2008 09:09 amI wanted to do something seasonal for my friends, and I'm terrible at cards and whatnot, so I thought I'd try, emphasis on try, to post a song a day, something that evokes a sentiment, not so much something that's considered a Christmas song as much as just something that gets you in the right Heart space. What works for me might not work for you, but hey, why not?
I realize sometimes widgets and things get annoying and even screw up your f-pages. Let me know if you'd prefer to be filtered out. I'll happily do so. Also, just click pause to make it stop. I can't figure out how to make it only play you want to listen. Again, if this annoys me, kindly point me to another widget or ask to be filtered out. No hard feelings.
(music removed to save my recent entries page. Hope you enjoyed it).
For those who missed it, it was "All I Really Want for Christmas" by Steven Curtis Chapman.

Date: 2008-12-06 05:43 pm (UTC)I had a bunch of stuff in my inbox and your post was way down there, and it started playing, and I was like WTH? I started checking if my radio was on, or some other application, and then realized what this was...
Anyway, LOVED the song, love the sentiment behind it. *squishes you really hard*
I ♥ Christmas songs. I think I need to move to NZ or something. Maybe US. I dunno, I just logged onto this Canadian radio online and I keep looking for xmas songs. lol
Anyway *squishes you again*
ETA: Could you please add the song title and artist name when you post? I know most people will probably know it, but I really like these songs, so it would be helpful to find them that way... ;)

Date: 2008-12-06 06:01 pm (UTC)And you're right, I should put the title and artist. It was in the playlist when I uploaded it, so I didn't pay attention to whether it was actually visible anyway.
This one is "All I Really Want for Christmas" by Steven Curtis Chapman. And you should be able to download it Here (http://www.4shared.com/get/74739727/21c04b39/04_-_All_I_Really_Want.html) but I have a knack for copying the wrong link, so let me know if it doesn't work. Hmm, and it say 70 people have downloaded it already, which is weird, cuz I haven't posted the download link anywhere. Maybe it's possible to snag it from the widget somehow. *shrugs*
And it freaked me out when it started randomly playing, too. I don't know why it doesn't wait for someone to click. *smoosh*
