Salvation is on TNT right now. And John's whole speech after Meg calls and demands he turns himself over is so Dean in Season 5.

"If I don't a lot of people will die." D'aww. Plus how he wants Sam to go to school and Dean to have a home and thinks he can give them that by leaving. *sigh*

I need fic, too. It's so hard to find non-weechester fic with John in it. Nothing wrong with weechesters, I just like the older dynamic better. Family really is the strongest link.

I think that is why I write a lot of teen!chesters as opposed to really wee!boys. For some reason that teen dynamic matched with Winchester dynamic just pushes my buttons. Teen!angst, Daddy!angst, brother!angst. Mmmmm. Me likey.
