Oh,and I'm not having any problems with Vist at all. The only issue I've had was, when I first plugged in myh ethernet cable for my modem, it kept saying I didn't have a signal and wasn't connected, even after I installed the modem driver. You know how I fixed it? Three guesses and the first two don't count.

Turned it off and then back on, and voila!

Congrats on your new 'puter! I know how exciting it is to go from an old clunker to a new machine :) I did that on June 6th of '08, so it's almost been a year and I'm still equally thrilled with mine, and I'm still aware of how much better it is than my old one (which only had 256mb or RAM--it was a dinosaur). And I LOVE that Adam Lambert wallie!

I love this computer so much. My old one was 512MB and had 100G hard drive,this one has 2G RAM, that can upgrade to 4 and 250G hard drive. It's like going from roller blades to rocket propelled. LOL. Still haven't installed photoshop yet, but I'm thinking it's gonna be so much more fun on this machine. And I actually love Vista. Not an issue with it yet. I even managed to uninstall Norton,which my other computer never let me do. It always gave me an error, so for as long as I had it, I had to keep Norton updated or half my stuff wouldn't work. Hate Norton! Oh, and I plugged a few of my files onto a flash drive to load from my old comp, and I scanned them all with Norton before I moved them over here, and when I got them here, I scanned them with Avira before opening, and would you believe Avira found stuff that Norton missed. Yeah, it's a waste of money.

I got the wallie off the adam lambert comm. I think it's adamlambertai08 but I could be wrong.

Yes, a new computer is a wonderful thing! I'm glad you're liking Vista and that all your programs are working with it for you. As someone who works in IT Support, I often have the use the Sam Wesson Method (TM) and it invariably does work. I'm thinking of employing his Phone Answering Method (TM) next. ;-)
