And I'm no artist, so you're forewarned.

Anyway, I'm working on my website, and one of the problems I had was that I don't want any of the images I use to be recognizeable people, so I had some screencaps lying around from:

And I messed around with them in Photoshop. I don't know whether I'll be able to use anything I did, but man did it burn up my afternoon. LOL.

So, anyway...

	screen cap from Latter Days gakked this from manip_res This set of screencaps was how I actually discovered the movie. Believe it or not, this is actually a brightened cap. This scene was really dark.
	embrace base This was what I ended up settling on as the base from the screencap. I had to enlarge it quite a bit to make it useful with any of my textures, but I liked the artsy kind of texture that produced, so I guess it doesn't matter that they're not high res. The whole point is that I want generic art that can't be recognized for my website.
	Embrace fusion I dunno. I really like this, but it's probably more dramatic than I am, so I probably won't be using it like this, but I still like it. Just my base and a texture by misarte fromtexturize, some blending...
	Embrace background The fusion base on another background by misarte (I hope...) and dried flower textures by zeldona at mellowmint. I really like this as a background for smaller boxes, but as a central background it doesn't really work, since all the good bits are covered up. LOL.
	Love Letters, black and white I don't know if I like this, but then, I sorta do. It's the fusion base plus a Love letter texture by shacily. I think it's a Luminosity filter over a mostly white background.
	Love Letters, Stationery I wanted something that looked kind of like stationery paper. This is all just blending and a burlap texture.
	Love Letters, Envelope Again, a stationery look, but darker so it would be more like the envelope or something. I dunno. I just thought it was a shame to wash out all the color. Mostly this is all blendign again.
	Love Letters, Envelope I don't know what the difference is between this one and the last one. Size maybe?

I saw that movie, and I love it! The guy in the bottom pic ( can't remember his name ) looks a lot like Jared. Hee, this movie is begging for a J2 re-write :D

I think someone once started a Dean/Sam rewrite but they didn't finish by the deadline, and what they did post was crap. I'm not being mean. She actually admitted it herself. LOL. But you're right. It begs for a J2-ization. I love it. It's one of only two movies I have on my comp and watch over and over again.

I did hear that, and I grin stupidly every time I think about it. LOL.I never watched Days, but it still tickles me to no end that he's playing Jensen's old character.

I also saw him on an episode of NCIS New York the other day, and I think the chick who played Cassie is in that.

There should be a game "Six Steps to Jensen Ackles" or Six Steps to Supernatural, because it seems like they're connected to everything.

Yeah Latter Days is one of my guilty pleasure gay boy movies. So cute. Someone on my flist said she was writing a Mormon!boy AU for her Big Bang. She's going to make it a romance between the two missionaries.

ALSO, I've been watching gayboy soap stories all weekend. I so full of slashy love right now...if only I could write it all down, lol.
