Merry Almost Christmas...

I have a small confession to make. So, I'm not answering my phone or checking my mail. I'm just not. Nothing in there I can deal with, BUT, last night Tracer emailed me and told me to get my ass out there and check the mail, because she sent me a cool ass card.

So, I did.

And Tracer's card wasn't there. Mostly just what I already knew, bills I have no way to pay, lol, BUT (see now, these are the good buts, lol, how often does that happen?)

BUT there was a card from the lovely vanae. HONEY!!!! Your card was gorgeous. I have to admit staring at the envelope for several minutes wondering who the heck do I know from Denmark? LOL. And then I opened it. EEEE! The little angel made me cry. I dunno why. That's been happening a lot lately, but I adore it so much. Thank you.



Erm, so that J2 Christmas fic is not working. I'm past 10000 words now, and it still feels like just a bunch of random, angsty, cliche scenes. But I'm gonna keep plugging away, because Something Gold felt the same to me, and that turned out okay. But now, since it's not finished, and it's only two days to Christmas, I'm not gonna rush to throw together some crap just to have something to post when I know most of y'all aren't even around to read. I'm aiming for sometime next week. As far as I'm concerned that's close enough to Christmas. I hope that's okay.

And I feel especially bad, because in my push to get this fic done for Christmas, I've pushed aside my WIPs, and they're all now in desperate need of updates. Um, I'm gonna try to put up a chapter of Cracked by the weekend, because I did promise apieceofcake 5000 words or more by the end of the year, but I'm not gonna bother anyone to beta Sin Nombre, and I'm to a scene that really needs to be betaed, because it involves medical STUFF that I have no working knowledge of. Besides, I don't think anyone' really reading that. And I'm tickled that someone poked me over "Nightblindness" verse, but yeah, not til after the Christmas fic is done. I just feel like I can't do anything coherent lately. Wah!

Tomorrow another music post, and I might dig out the world's cheesiest Christmas fic that I wrote a like three years ago and dig out just for laughs, but then I'll be shutting up until I have something worthwhile to post. Thanks everyone for being awesome. I'm sorry I'm not more with the spirit of things. I'm trying. I feel like it must be so much work having me around lately.

Aww don't worry, hun *squishes* most of the things I write and I'm not too convinced about are the ones that end up being the best according to the people who are reading =)

No rush Tracy I can wait! My birthdays early Jan, and as I'm getting old and depressing LOL!..I might just leave it till then to read anyways.

Gah. Christmas is a drag this year. Nobody's posting anything so I actually have to study cause I don't have anything to read. I knew why I haven't spent Christmas at home in Germany for years...
