I think we are the same person. I agree, there's some vile hate and grudgewanking on the anonmeme, but mostly it's about people I don't know or about fic authors, and since I don't read fic anymore, I don't know enough to care one way or the other.
And I really want a closed book finale so I can forget there's even going to be a season 6. If I hate the finale, then I don't trust them to fix it in season 6, and if I love it, I don't trust them not to ruin it in season 6, which sounds defeatist, I know. Thats not to say I won't end up watching season 6 the way I started watching season 1, with it playing in the background while I do something else. I just want to be able to choose to watch or not without being forced into it by some godawful cliffhanger ending. *crosses fingers*
