Yay! Someone who likes my metaphors and similes. I sometimes start writing a story with just a story in mind, then a line pops into my head that turns into a recurring theme. I always wonder if people appreciate that or if it comes off as too much frill and not enough story. I'm so glad it works for you, cuz I prolly couldn't stop doing it if I tried.
