I don't read much fic, but I know there must be a lot of codas out there, which kind disheartens me, because I know people will read their go-to writers, and I don't even fly under the radar I'm so far off the map. LOL. I doubt it's worth crossposting, but I feel better now that I wrote it.
And it's not in contradiction to what I posted earlier. I've always seen Dean getting the family and the apple pie life (even if I write my fair share of the slash). I just don't see how they expect anyone to believe he cares about having one while he thinks Sam's dead, and I don't think he can be happy pursuing it just because he's not allowed to pursue anything that will help him get Sam back. I think if he had the choice, he'd definitely want that, though.
You'll just never convince me he chose that in that episode. :P
