As Random as it gets...

We watched Discovery Channel.
They show two hours a day of "Haunting" in the afternoon.
Today there was an exorcism on the show.
When it was over, hubby said, "Huh, they didn't finish the job."
Me: *is gullible* "How do you know?*
Hubby: No black smoke came out of his mouth.

I'm sure no one's missed me, since my calendar says I posted just a couple days ago, but I know I didn't answer any comments from that last post. I posted it at work and got caught up in *gasp* actual work. Go figure.
Anyway, I think I'm taking a wee hiatus. It seems like I end up feeling confrontational or defensive every time I log on anymore. And I've gotten a lot of writing done in the last three days that I haven't been getting done lately just by not turning on my computer. I'm leaving my comp off except to check my email a couple times a day, and there will probably be down time at work when I check in, but I'm just checking my email and making a quick lap of my flist. If I don't comment on your post, it's not that I don't love ya. I just have to not get sucked in too deeply or get into any comment marathons for awhile. I'll probably come back next week unless I'm really on a roll with the writing. (This Overboard fic is going to be awesome. I can't stop playing in that universe for the life of me.) And someone is gonna have to tie me up or something, because I am swearing off spoilers for next season. This season has been ruined for me in a lot of ways, and I want to watch it with the same wide-eyed wonder I used to watch it with. I'm already ruined for this year. But next year... Somebody better be ready to enforce that, cuz I have no will power at all.
