Did anyone ever come forward and take credit for all the anonymous permanent accounts that were given away during the last sale?
You know, the people who started Dreamwidth started as LJ peeps. Does anyone think LJ knew about Dreamwidth and gave away permanent accounts to people with a lot of friends in an effort to keep them(and their friends) from going over to Dreamwidth?
I kill myself sometimes.

Anyway, if it's true, well, I think that would backfire if anyone found out. And I don't know about you, but I'd be more likely to walk away from it if I didn't buy it with my own money. That's just my thinking, though.
