Man. I stayed up WAY too late last night to finish this. I've had it bookmarked ever since you posted the first part was making myself wait until all the others were posted because I knew that I'd get hooked. And I wasn't wrong! I've seen Overboard SO many times and I was exceptionally excited to see how you two would alter it to make it fit in the J2 world and I'm not at all disappointed. So often, I think people stick too close to the original films to the detriment of the actual story, but I love that you didn't do that here. Because it wouldn't have WORKED. Jared's characterization was particularly interesting in this since he started out as such a douche, but really became the Jared we "know" after the accident and I think it really worked.
Also, the supporting cast -- particularly Jensen's brothers and sisters -- were really compelling and interesting. Which, in a fic like this, is integral.
Just. Really. This was SUCH a fun, solid read. I enjoyed the hell out of it. Thanks for sharing!
