That was an evil way to end that chapter, wasn't it? Y'know, I never had anything against Danneel, so I already felt bad for writing her the way I did. Not that I don't think most girlfriends faced with that situation wouldn't have left Jensen, too, because I think most girls would've. Sad but true. But then, when the engagement was announced, my guilt increased by like a hundred fold. I thought about changing the name of the ex, but then I just decided I'd do my best to redeem her a little. I didn't know how, since any scenario in which she shows up at the end is highly unlikely, but hey, this is fiction. Serendipity I say. It was fun to tease the reader, though.
