They are nerve-wracking and embarrassing, especially the way they had it set up here where there are like fifteen or twenty other people waiting for their ops standing behind the camera watching yours. But I'd say it's probably worth it, if for no other reason than to have an excuse to get sorta dolled up and feel pretty for the rest of the day. That's obviously not something I do very often given that my everyday life is pretty much all about the manual labor and sweat.
