Hi - I went to the blog but couldn't figure out where the poll is - so I came back here to post my opinion. Your hair is gorgeous and unless you're going to cut it to donate it (true - Locks of Love doesn't give the wigs they make to patients, I've heard they make them pay for them) -but Pantene does a much better job at accepting hair and making it available to those who need it, so check them out.

As someone who has been fundraising for primarily cancer-related events since 2007 (I started my pursuit with the Avon 2-day breast cancer walk in NYC where I had to raise $1,800 individually - proud to say my friend and I each raised over $2,000) - anyway, I digress - but following on the success that the Help Haiti auction did, I think people like to "get" something as part of their bid. I wouldn't donate just for you to cut your hair, but I would donate to get something that I can't get here in CT - could be anything, could be an old book you want to pass along, a piece of jewelry that you don't like, a jar of hot sauce famous from your city - you never know. Anywho, that's my two cents. Keep up the good work!
